Crewenda Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This policy explains how Lafrancian Enterprises processes information when organizations and their authorized users use the Crewenda construction operations service, public website, and support channels.

2. Information we process

Crewenda may process account and profile information such as name, business email, mobile number, company role, app role, project scope, employment status, and notification preferences. Organizations may provide project, dispatch, Daily Log, time and attendance, PTO, equipment, vehicle, maintenance, vendor, order, safety, weather, photo, document, and audit information.

The public site may receive ordinary hosting and security logs such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, timestamp, and diagnostic data. Crewenda does not add advertising trackers or behavioral analytics in this release.

3. How information is used

Information is used to provide and secure the service, authenticate users, enforce roles and tenant boundaries, coordinate field operations, retain operational history, deliver requested notifications, troubleshoot issues, prevent abuse, maintain backups, and meet legal obligations.

4. Organization-controlled information

Participating organizations decide which authorized users and operational records belong in their Crewenda installation. Workers should contact their organization about employment records, project data, and access decisions. Crewenda administrators should use least privilege and provide required employee notices.

5. Photos and documents

Project and equipment media are intended to remain private. Authorized application endpoints resolve stored files only after access checks. Organizations must avoid uploading unnecessary sensitive information and must follow applicable retention and legal-hold requirements.

6. Mobile information and SMS

Crewenda sends requested operational communications such as work assignments, schedule updates, reminders, and service messages. A participating organization may supply company, project, or work context for a Crewenda message, but it does not become an independent SMS sender. Mobile information and SMS consent are not sold. They are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Service providers required to deliver Crewenda communications may process the minimum information needed to provide that service. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Participation is optional, and users may opt out by replying STOP.

7. Service providers

Crewenda may rely on infrastructure and processing providers for hosting, identity, storage, email, SMS delivery, mapping, weather, licensing, support, and future payment processing. Current architecture may include Google, Firebase, Twilio, OpenStreetMap-related services, and government weather sources. These providers process information to deliver their services; this is different from sharing mobile data or consent for their own marketing.

8. Security

Crewenda uses role and project-scope checks, tenant ownership, private media access, audit records, bounded requests, retry-safe operations, and provider kill switches. No system is perfectly secure. Crewenda remains a production candidate and must complete documented live security, recovery, device, capacity, and independent review gates before production approval.

9. Retention and deletion

Operational, payroll, safety, consent, audit, backup, and media records may have different retention periods based on organization policy, contracts, legal obligations, and legal holds. Important history is generally preserved through status changes, revisions, or append-only records instead of silent overwrites. Requests are evaluated against these obligations and technical recovery windows.

10. Requests and choices

Authorized users may update certain profile and notification choices through their organization. SMS can be declined without losing access to Crewenda. For access, correction, deletion, account, or privacy requests, contact [email protected]. An organization may need to handle requests for records it controls.

11. Changes

We may update this policy as Crewenda, providers, or legal requirements change. The posted version and date will identify the current public policy.
